One thing rammed home to us during the wedding photographic workshop with the incredibly talented Jerry Ghionis, was that before we can be masters of portrait photography, we need to practice practice practice.
Three young children have allowed me to refine my photo-jounalistic skills over the past 6 years, but they are not really helpful with the fine art of posing. So I have been chasing models/couples/anybody to practice new techniques before the wedding season starts next month.
The first model I managed to convince to suffer my new lighting/posing techniques, was the exquisite Lorelli.
After our first photoshoot, Lorelli managed to convince her boyfriend Matt to come along for some couples shoot, thank you heaps Matt.
