Breanna and Ryan’s Wedding Photos [Yeppoon Wedding Photographer]

Yes still a very busy time for weddings in Rockhampton, and I will be running on catch up for a while.  Here is the lovely wedding of Breanna and Ryan at Rosslyn Bay Resort near Yeppoon a few weeks back.

Wedding Details:

Celebrant: Jean Bond
Makeup Provider: Creative Faces
Hair by: Statix Hairworkz
Wedding Dress provided by: Bridal Reflections
Wedding and Reception: Rosslyn Bay Resort
Wedding Cake: Wedding Cakes by Wendy
Videographer: Living Lens

Here are some of the all important wedding details.  The gumboots were very appropriate considering the weather we had.

Breanna got ready in the big rooms at Rosslyn Bay Resort – with great big windows for amazing light.

I have to say I have been looking forward to this wedding for a while, as it was my first time to work with Peter and his wife beautiful wife Emily from Living Lens.  I have been following their blog for a while, and their work is just amazing.  I love their narrow depths of field, use of light and story telling.  They are so good that stills from the shots are better than what many still photographers do.  Rockhampton brides are truely blessed to have a videographer of such quality so close.  I am also truly jealous of some the legendary wedding photographers these guys have worked with, including a promo with Matt and Katie.

On the right of this picture you can see Peter doing his magic, and I also have to say that despite there amazing abilities, they are both friendly lovely people to work with.  I cannot wait to see there video of Breanna and Ryan’s wedding – just hope their stills are not better than my photos – here hoping.

As you can see below, Breanna was just stunning.

I just love these shots, the ever helpful bridesmaids on the way to the wedding.

The tower like complexes of Rosslyn Bay Resort make for some fantastic photos, I discovered this formation quite by accident on the way to the reception, I liked it so much that I took them back to this location after the wedding – see below.

Again I love catching moments like these Breanna taking a sneak peak before walking down the Isle.

Because of the very wet weather, Rosslyn Bay organised an undercover location for the wedding next to the restaurant.  It was a bit squishy, but still work perfectly fine.

The all important hugs and kisses.

As noted it was a wet day, so after the wedding we stayed put around Rosslyn Bay Resort, so that we could jump inside if it rained.  Here is a traditional portrait taken straight after the wedding.

Breanna was just stunning from any angle.

The next few photos were taken in the back courtyard of the Resort, with the short break we had from the rain.

And when it did rain, we jumped car port, well the bridal party did, the poor photographer and videographer got wet.

My ever adorable critical wife told me I should remove the “caution children” sign, but I intentionally framed it this way for a bit of the story – she is still not convinced

Another break in the rain allowed the obligatory jump shot for the big wedding party.

A large bridal party also allows some different posed situations.  You might also notice Callan in the wedding party who I photographed in the previous post.  I am shooting Callan and his lovely bride to be in a few weeks.

When the rain came again, we said good bye to the wedding party and went into the Resort buildings to explore some of the light from the lights and large windows.  I have to say that Rosslyn Bay Resort has some fantastic indoor locations for portrait photography – the one below was probably my favourite portrait, maybe one of my best portraits yet.

As discussed above, we went back to the magnificent tower stair cases at the resort, great angles.

Thanks heaps Breanna and Ryan for letting me photograph your wedding, hope you love your photos.

Gorgeous images! The dramatic lighting on the bride is beautiful. Well done!

[...] The view out past the marina to the Keppel islands was misty with light rain, but that didn’t faze Breanna. Today she was marrying her childhood sweetheart Ryan – come rain, hail or shine. She had even embraced the wet weather and had bought all her bridesmaids designer gumboots, so they were in for fun no matter the weather! Geoff from Geoffery Sinclair Photography did an amazing job taking photos around a slightly wet Rosslyn Bay Resort and you can see some of these stunning images on his blog [...]
