Last month I had the pleasure of photographing Kirsty and Nathan’s beautifully wet wedding in Rockhampton,
Wedding Details:
Wedding: St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church
Hair and Makeup: Narelle Hinz
Flowers: Just Flowers
Wedding Dress from Marry me Bridal
Wedding Cakes: Cakes of Distinction
Wedding Reception: Cassidy’s Seafood and Steakhouse
There was so many great photos from this wedding, I had to restrict it down to the best 20, and that was hard. Kirsty got ready at her mums place, which always makes a great photography location
I just love these moments, the hug in the mirror are just priceless moments.
You can see how fabulous she looks
I just love the moments just before the walk down the alter, it is always something special to photograph
The wedding was at St Andrews Church in Rockhampton, the old cinema. I actually remember going to the movies at that cinema, stating to show how old I am. The celebrant Mike O’Connor gave an excellent service.
As noted above, it was one of the very few wet winter days we had in Rockhampton, which created some lovely photographic challenges. Kirsty and her bridesmaids were all Girls Grammar students, so with the permission of the head master, we were allowed to photograph on the grounds. Which was very practical on a wet day.
Um mar, Kirsty kissing the boy of her dreams at school. You also see the raindrops on Nathans suit.
The grounds at grammar school made an excellent back drop.
And the buildings were just fabulous, as were Nathan and Kirsty. This photos is my favourite of the day.
Now this is when you have a legendary groom, one willing to turn upside down for a wedding shoot. I just love these guys.
After Girls Grammar we went down to a very wet river bank.
And onto a dry Criterion Hotel, with those fabulous stairs.
We finished up some bridal poses on the stairs, to show off Kirsty and that stunning dress.
Thanks guys for a fantastic wedding, and agreeing to play on monkey bars for a wedding shoot, how awesome.
