At the end of last month, I had the pleasure of photographing Shona and Michaels wedding in Rockhampton.
First we have all the all important wedding details. Shona’s dress was by Marry Me Bridal
Shona got ready at her mothers place in Yeppoon. Here is Shona getting ready, I always find that brides look stunning when they are not aware they are getting photographed. Shona’s hair and make-up was by Karen Neale.

Shona and Michaels ceremony was held at a beautiful private house and garden in Rockhampton, a stunning place for a wedding. Their wedding celebrant was Sharon Polkinghorne.

My very pregnant wife Katrina came along to help me in the photo shoot, and below is one of her fantastic shots. It was great to have my wife along on the wedding, they even played our wedding song which was very reminiscent.

I always believe in not posing photographs for the signing register. This is for two reasons, one (as shown below) I think you get a much nicer photos of bride and groom during the actual signing of the register, and you have plenty of time to capture this moment. Second reason is that stopping the wedding for photography breaks the flow of the wedding, and I believe one of photographers jobs is to be as inconspicuous as possible during the wedding.

After the wedding we moved to the Rockhampton City centre for the some photos along Quay St.

The buildings along Quay St are fantastic for photos.

And a nice grunge relaxed bridal party photo in an alleyway

Sharon and Michael were having their reception at the wedding location, so after the city we took some private wedding photos back in the garden.

Thanks to Shona and Michael for letting us photograph there wedding, I hope you love the photos.
